Dennis Condry ca. 1695-1760

The earliest Dennis Condry records thus far located that connect to the sailing Condry families of Newburyport, Massachusetts come from an island in the Isles of Shoals about 10 miles Northeast of Newburyport (formerly Newberry or Newberry Plantation) or due East of Portsmouth and the Hamptons in modern day New Hampshire.

Here also is a Dennis Condrey record of parentage with Mary Kreswell, widow of Robert Cresswell, Isle of Shoals, from the records or Gosport, suggestive of some time spent on this tiny island sometime between 1725 to 1731.

A son, Timothy Condre, was born December 25th, 1731 or alternately January 30th, 1732, possibly in Newburyport (according to online Essex County, Massachusetts records).

A Mary Condry is listed as a part of the "Later Membership of the Church of Gosport" on pages 59-61 of
"A Record of Communicants Admitted by " [the words
" Rev  John Tucke(ed: see John Tucker) " being erased]. In an abbreviated form the
list is this :

March 4' 1732/33. - Mary Condry & -f Dorothy Valpy.
